Kobido massage

This treatment includes:

  • lifting and sculpting manual techniques for a natural tissue lift

  • lymphatic drainage for the face and neck (to reduce stagnation and puffiness)

  • acupressure to stimulate energetic points and support balance

  • deep relaxation for facial expression muscles (forehead, eyes, mouth area)

  • Kobido-inspired rhythmic sequences (alternating fast and slow movements) to boost microcirculation

  • neck, upper shoulders and décolletage work to support flow and the overall lifting effect

Best for you if:

  • you feel generally balanced and don’t hold strong tension in the jaw/neck

  • your skin looks tired or dull and you want more glow and firmness

  • you want a regular beauty ritual to maintain healthy tone and a natural lifting effect

Important note (who I don’t recommend Kobido for):

Because Kobido is a more dynamic massage, I don’t recommend it for clients over 40 or for anyone with strong facial tension/bruxism or a “facial armour” feeling. In these cases, Facebalm Flow & Release is usually a better, safer match.

Contraindications:

  • strong muscular tension / bruxism / jaw pain

  • active facial skin inflammation

  • fever or infection

  • Botox/fillers (minimum 4 weeks)

  • facial surgery (minimum 12 months)

  • cancer or autoimmune conditions in an active flare

  • blood clotting disorders / anticoagulant medication

Primary goal: Dynamic Japanese lifting ritual for glow + circulation (for lower-tension faces).

Kobido is a traditional Japanese beauty ritual with rhythmic, energising massage designed to boost microcirculation, brighten the skin and create a subtle natural lift. It’s best for balanced faces without strong jaw/neck tension—more “beauty ritual” than deep tension therapy.
